If a student cannot be admitted because a group is full, parents will be notified in a timely manner. In that case, camp fees already paid will be refunded within 15 working days. Pro English / English for Bengels reserves the right to cancel a registration. Also in this case, parents will be informed in a timely manner and already paid camp fees will be refunded within 15 working days.
If parents choose to terminate the services of Pro English / English for Bengels after a contract has been entered into, they will owe a percentage of the camp fee according to the schedule below:
If cancellation insurance is in place, the parent may file a claim with HanzeMekur.
Although the content of the camp program is compiled with the utmost care, Pro English / English for Bengels reserves the right to make changes to the program of activities, provided they do not affect the essence of the camp. The activities mentioned on the website may therefore be subject to changes, for which Pro English / English for Bengels is not liable.
Pro English / English for Bengels strives to make all activities enjoyable and educational. In order to create a pleasant learning environment, bullying, inappropriate language or repeated disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Compliance with all reasonable instructions provided by Pro English / English for Bengels is desirable to promote proper performance of the contract. If the performance of the camp is repeatedly impeded by a student, Pro English / English for Bengels reserves the right to exclude that student from further participation. Before this decision is made, English for Bengels will contact the student's parents. All resulting costs and damages will be borne by the parents concerned.
Photographs and video recordings are regularly taken during camps. These may be used for:
If you do NOT want your child(ren) to appear in photos and/or videos used by Pro English / English for Bengels, you can indicate this when you register.
All bags and other personal belongings remain at the student's risk at all times. Pro English / English for Bengels accepts - except in cases of damage caused by intent or gross negligence of Pro English / English for Bengels - no liability for damage to (valuable) property of the pupil, regardless of whether it has been entrusted to the staff of Pro English / English for Bengels or damage results from theft, loss or damage.
Pro English / English for Bengels accepts no liability for damages for which a claim can be made under travel or accident insurance, or third party (liability) insurance.Each participant must have a valid liability insurance and (possibly) travel insurance.
Pro English / English for Bengels accepts - except in the case of individual transportation by English for Bengels or in cases of intentional or gross negligence - no liability for the transportation of the pupil. The pupil should contact the respective carrier, if applicable. At the request of parents, Pro English / English for Bengels will provide the name of the carrier.
Notwithstanding the above, any liability of Pro English / English for Bengels is limited to the amount paid in the relevant case under its (liability) insurance(s).
Parental liability
The client (parent/guardian) shall be liable for all damages to Pro English / English for Bengels and/or third parties as a direct or indirect result of any failure - such as failure to comply with the above rules of conduct - by the student.Parents shall indemnify Pro English / English for Bengels for third party claims for damages arising from or related to the student's use of facilities and/or services under the agreement.
Property found at the end of a camp will be kept by Pro English / English for Bengels until the end of the school year's summer vacation. After this period, the remaining items will be donated to charity.
The parties will attempt to resolve any disputes by mutual agreement. If unfortunately it does not prove possible to reach a mutually satisfactory solution, the Amsterdam District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes, to the exclusion of other courts.
